I have a star filter but im retarded lol I cant get it to actually make stars i just get blurry balls of light *sadness* lol

I like that-I love the rose--Now im super excited for mine to come in lol I ordered some filters a long time ago (i didnt exactly understand the sizes of the filters lol) ..and yeah lol Totally bought the wrong sizes and couldnt return them lol Bad times ! lol But now i know better yay! Thanks for showing me Thats really nice of you. I didnt realize there was like an email thing on Deviant Art lol How many pictures from your trip did you take?! EGADS??! lol hahaha

8 gigs! Wow Thats a lot lol I remember when i came back from Europe It took me a month straight to get those pictures filtered through and everything lol ohhh good times hahahhaha So once you get that monotonous feeling lol Youre not alone lol

I love the angles on this engine. Awesome. It just kinda came together. It was one of those where the lighting was spot on, the angle of light was beautiful, and the end result was this. These are all film photos too, which I processed and printed myself. Thanks again for the comment

Hehe...once again awesome shot. I disagree with ~neodavinci about the starbursts. I like them. Are you using a filter for the camera to achieve those?

Yeah it's a Cokin Star 4 filter.....I use it a lot at car shows... I love the way it shows the shine of these objects.

I think that all the starbursts distract from the beauty of the picture. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe those were put in digitally. I'd like to see a print without them.

Nope, those flares are on film. I use the Cokin system, so I had their star 4 filter in the carrier at the time. I used Kodak Tri-X iso 400 film when I shot this. Thanks for the comment and the friends add.
