Very nice clouds! I'd pick a different terrain. Or you can zoom in on this one to improve the skyline. This one is too busy. And I'd work on water.

Hey, that's cool! I didn't even know there were world files until I entered a contest and they said I had to have the world file, and I said like, what's that? I've been saving them ever since, but that doesn't mean I can locate a given one when I want to. I have gotten better by the way I name things. Always save before rendering so if it crashes, you still have it.

I have learned to put the name of the person who donated the terrain on the name. Unfortunately, I'm not consistent, and I have a bunch from before I started doing that. Good YOU know what you mean! But I get the idea. I usually rename my images, tacking on the name I gave it when I displayed it as art. The name I give it originally conforms to the terrain used. That helps a lot. The picture files are easy to see, and locate what I want, and then I know what to search on, because I keep the original name in it as well.

You're very welcome. Just can't have a plain blue sky, you know...need to keep it interesting. You did a great job.

No problem. I haven't done the thing where you can just render a sky or just the terrain and add whichever later...that might be something interesting to try sometime. And I haven't tried adding odjects yet that aren't in Terragen...I'll have to get some practice in with that. I need to go hunting up some websites that have stuff like that. I have a couple 3D programs...Blender is one of them...but I didn't understand it right off (hate reading help files ) so that sort of made me discouraged to try it. Maybe I'll give it another shot.

hiya jak sorry its taking me so long get back to you on comments ive been up an down on an off and let things go abit and omg! lol
Most of the plants ect ive been adding are free from daz its the same as poser 3d and you just render them on a black background and screen them on corel or photo shop ect usually and it usually cuts the trees out for you an things if you no what i mean ..probably not i dont explain things very well lol

No problem...people do do other things besides spend all their time at DA!!! Yeah, I've been noticing that you've been adding objects...gives your renders more realism. I don't know if I'd be able to catch on to that whole adding thing...plus I don't have Photoshop. I have Paint Shop Pro on my older PC. I also have The Gimp which is suppose to do a lot of various things, but I really haven't played around much with it. I do simple layering all the time with Paintbuster. but that's a little bit different then transposing or merging objects onto another image.
I've been getting a little more behind myself cause I dev watch quite a few people now...I keep up with the comments, but I'm a little bit slower getting to the images. I do get to them eventually, but then there are more...you know how that goes. You just get to what you get to.

i see ..i dont use photo shop for it though i corel photo its pretty simular but ..well there is a way you could with psps with copy and paste and using your selection tools ..i use my clone brush alot with my psp and sometmes use it to clone a whole sky or something from one pic to anther ..there is a clone bursh in corel but i prefer psps ..but corel have a transparency brush that i love lol..its like an eraser basically if you set it to 100% ...gimp ive got somewhere and ive read and been told its one fo the best things around to have but it seems a little hard to get into ..i had it i think for the fire plug ins or something lol

oh and im trying lol

I discovered the cloning tool in PhotoFiltre...have been using that for little cosmetic fix jobs. I like how it works...I use a lot of the various effects in that program also...besides how it can enhance images. I took The Gimp off of my PC for the time being...I have like five or six art related programs on my computer that I use on a regular basis and I don't see much sense in keeping ones installed that I don't use very often. I need to add another memory card to both my PCs. My older PC (which has Win98 in it) doesn't have hardly any memory at all. There's one RPG game that I could never install on my newer computer so that's why I have the older one...mainly just so I can play that game. Don't have much else on it.
