Description
Sine the Last update I've added arms and removed some edges so the model isn't as high poly.I've created the rig in Maya and I've started skinning the rig to the model. I still have to create controls for the rig and a few dynamic rigs which will save me the trouble of individually animating the fins and lure.
I will eventually put the model and animations into the Unreal Engine, because it's easy to make the textures look great in UE.

OH MY GOSH OOO Looks so pro. How much does Maya cost if you don't mind me asking?
I use Godot for my personal projects and a programmer buddy I have wants help making a 3D game after he builds a new computer ;_;
The interface looks much nicer than blenders

Thank you so much!!!
It's all good, I just had a look on the Autodesk website and Maya is expensive (AUD$1,470 per year. You would have to check how much it is in other currencies). Because I'm an animation student I get a free 3 year trial, which is really good because I could not afford it otherwise.
ah yeah, sweet! If they need 3D models made, I'd be happy to help out!

OH SWEET! What's it like being an animation student?
I'll definitely keep that in mind :3
I've dabbled a bit in sculptris models but I don't know how to rig in blender yet. I personally struggle a lot with background assets like plants, items, and terrains as well.

Animation is a lot of work, but a lot of fun when the programs don't crash. It's quite interesting learning about the industry and I get to collaborate with games, music and film students.
I'm more of a 3D animator then 2D, but 2D is still enjoyable.
Modelling does take a lot of practice and watching tutorials helps so much!
