I imagine King Dice (Iβm gonna call him KD for short) after being beaten up realizes that the cups are going to fight the Devil next. But KD knows a shortcut and takes that. But it took him so much time (limping) that by the time he gets there, Cuphead and Mugman are already there. Then he hears the Devil call him a βgood-for-nothing lackey,β so he decides that if thatβs what he thinks of him, then heβs not good enough to tell him.
