Ok so I finally got to get through my internet to where I can actually post this but!! Here's a new painting I did recently because I haven't really painted anything (I think the last thing I painted was the clown picture around halloween time??) But I think I improved??? The painting isn't as messy as it used to be so I'm really happy about that!! plus I haven't drawn anything Steven Universe related in a while haha
I loved old Lapis so this was kinda of a memorial for her, because her character now is really dull compared
Plus she's just so edgy?? Heck man

I'm sorry! I'm not to sure I understand your question? Lapis' gem is on her back. Do you mean why it's just a bust or why she has on a necklace instead of her regular clothes? Ah! Just because I wanted to draw it like that? I'm not really sure. Plus I think I got inspiration from the scene where lapis has her back turned and her gem is broken? But there's no real reason other than I thought it looked cool ^^ I hope this helps!
