Well she will only be his sidekick temporary before disbanding him but she will always fight by his side.

B A C K S T O R Y:

Wendy was born to an intermediate wealthy inventor father and wife who is a perfectionist engineer and scientist. Together her parents were both geniuses who created biological protection for the sake of Gotham. though some are little successful and some are failures due to increasingly crimes. Meanwhile, Jenji took Wendy on a summer vacation to her first training in kung fu and martial arts to protect herself when she becomes more older enough understanding shes living in a dangerous city of Gotham. When they return back he gives her a class to a dojo in Gotham city. During her time in elementary school years she was at first bullied by other children for being intelligent but proved them wrong after being the winner of all science projects and gymnastic until she was 12th grade after being successful at her education.

When she was 14, people and scientist tended to both of her parents unfinished inventions which those devices will protect Gotham from crime in the future which it appears to be unfinished robots her parents created, but tragedy strikes, Wendy was heading to see her parents to make her way up stage until notice two unknown assassins were sneaking into the building to ambushed both of the Sakurai's project. She thought it was nothing until she spotted there weapons so she run as fast as she could to warn her parents despite the hall being too far away but it was too late she heard guns were being fire and people scream for there lives. But unfortunately for Wendy she lost both of her parents as they were both shot in the hearts, the inventions were destroyed or stolen and everything was wrecked. The assassins got away in front of her eyes and she was defenseless to do something but mourn in both of her parents lifeless bodies. The Sakurai project was no more since the deceased of the both of her parents but someone was not the only one who watched this tragic.

After being orphanage to a freelance photographer she visited both of her parents grave in the night for her first time. She told herself to find more answers those assassins that dispose of her parents until then she met the Batman himself interrupting her alone time speech and was shocked to finally meet him. Face to face. And it was dark knight who saw or heard everything happen to her weeks ago. Unfortunately he cannot take her in as an adoptive due to her having someone else to watch over her but she can be part of his team, being his sidekick only temporarily. Offering her a chance to find her parents killers. It was a hard decision for her but she wanted to seek her vengeance against the assassins without killing them and to find answers but she accepted his offer having a mentor and being an temporarily sidekick. Wendy's Guardian is highly aware that Bruce will be helping Wendy but doesn't realize hes the Batman.

She found the assassins who killed her parents which they turn out to be one of Deathstroke's robot henchmen after all of those years. She found his lair to get her vengeance until she was caught by there henchman and was captured by Deathstroke finding out the truth why he done a terrible thing claiming her parents will not change Gotham city and its unknown who is he really working for. She later meet Nightwing the first former Robin who interrupted there conversation to save Cardinal to get her out of this with Deathstroke, she fought Deathstroke but was no match for him letting him escaped. One day, she will find more answers for him but it will be impossible. Nightwing made a promise for her to find Deathstroke to put a stop to him. Nightwing also offer Cardinal as an honorary Teen Titan though she will tell him she will be busy with school and would come back to the team soon.
