Want a tip? What I usually do when I'm shading black is turn off my color layer and then shade on my shading layer for the parts that are black. I find it very helpful. Maybe that's something you could try yourself.

Well, I suppose revolve was a harsh word. Just consists of quite a bit.
I actually do that once in a while. I shaded her hair that way.
