Description
Hello everyone! With commissions out of the way, I decided to Β finish a sketch I had laying around my computer. I'm pretty satisfied with it.
This is probably my most detailed (and well organized) background I've ever done. And boy did it take me a while. Phew.
I'm not sure how I did on the foliage as I used no references. I probably should have. But I just kinda went with what looked good.Also, welcome my newest character Kiki! She's actually not new. She was the first character I ever designed. I finally found a design I'm happy with.
Ironically her first posted picture she isn't even wearing her boots.

Oh wow, thank you for such a lovely critique!
I do struggle with perspective. Especially with this being around my 4th attempt at a background. And drawing the background AFTER drawing the character probably didn't help. xD So I can totally agree.
As for the eyes. What do you mean a light shadow in her eyes? Could you please explain that a bit more?

What I meant by the shadow in her eyes is you have a white outline in the eyes and the shadows in her eyes are like a dark gray/ gradient blue, and since she's out in the light, it should be lighter than what it is. But then again I haven't watched or played Sonic in years, so I don't even remember if how their eyes really looked xD

Dustin: It was a crisp, cool night. The forest was damp from dew and rain that had fell just 10 minutes before. The leaves rustled in the cool breeze, the branches swaying calmly. The air smelled of sweet dew and fresh honey, leaving a soothing aroma in the winter air. A mile from where she relaxed, the crunch of ice and snow was heard. A stallion/coyote by the name of Dustin ran towards her location. He was out for his daily run, though this was through new terrain. The buzz of the bugs and the caws and whistles of birds assaulted his ear dramas he rain. Finally, he had made it to the clearing she was at. He sat down on a rock across from where she sat and splashed some water over his face after removing his red Stetson. He looked cover to, eying her over. From her her well kept hair, to her well kept figure. He looked over to her bare feet and immediately blushed. He always had a thing for feet, though he was always too shy to tell others. He smiled and picked a rose from its roots and threw it across. "The sky is captivating, isn't it? Ah' always used t'come out with mag mom t'watch the stars. Watch the fireflies buzz over our heads and chase them around the yard. What's yer' fondest memory of the night sky?" He asked calmly, brushing down his mane with a smile. His eyes glowed with all of the colors of the spectrum, the colors dancing in his eyes, as he admired the girl across from him.

I used Paint Tool SAI to draw, line, and shade everything and added the border and some small effects in Photoshop.
