I wanted to practise in backgrounds a bit. But later I decided to draw this two here."Trees" looks stupid, I know.
and, please, forget about "they're not a pair!!1" or something like that, it'll be too childish.

No, just no, this destroys everything. I plan on uploading a comedy drawing of Badrang trying to convince Rose to fall in love with him, but after everything there is no way this would ever happen. So wrong on so many levels...but nicely done.

Well Rose is a peace loving mousemaiden who hates slavery and cruelty. Badrang is an evil warlord who abuses woodlanders and murders and enslaves them, not to mention he killed her, which ?I doubt she is too happy about. There is just no way it would work out between them.

Err... love's kinda strange thing. And the Badrang's not evil at all. He's evil because we were TOLD SO.
imagine such a situation. There's a feudal lord who took all the lands he could and there are people living on these lands. And one day people rose against their overlord and killed him. So who's right?
On one hand I may turn situation this way. Feudal lord was trying to save everything he's got. He tried to delight his army by persuading people work hard, but there's still wasn't enough food. His army started to think about killing him. And one day an onld enemy of this lord came back and asked the half of his lands. So he could just do nothing. And his own people, peaceful workers, rose up and hit him from behind. Was it unfair? Yes? Poor feudal lord? Of course. People are bastards? Yes, they are. But...
On the other hand, feudal and his army were horrible. They took food, they killed some people, they were rude, they raped women on their husband's eyes. So poor people couldn't just bear feudal's tyranny. Was he a bastard? Yes, he was... wait a second! But who's wrong here?
One story, two points of view. The same is with Badrang. Remember Martin's words? "We need liberty, no revenge". But he and all slaves were already free! So it was revenge. And later, as Badrang and Tsarmina, he built his own fortress, and I don't care how did he call it. So... they're all the same.

...Riiight...well either way I just cannot picture them together at all. Besides, my redwall fanfiction has Rose end up with Zego, my redwall OC/ID, and Zego and Badrang are arch rivals. We could do an art trade sometime featuring Zego and Badrang, or even Zego's ultimate identity, Willheilus *wink*

Sorry to hear about that. Your portrayal of Badrang as sort of a dark shadow figure kinda reminded me of some old role play games me and one of my friends used to do a lot, with Badrang as the villain, me as the hero, Rose as the girl, yeah I had an interesting childhood.
