To give some of you an idea of the challenge. I did a small sketch of Wrathion and Anduin visiting Neltharion while they're all in Pandaria. Wrathion is the little whelpling in Nel's arms, and yeah, as you can see, Wrathion doesn't particularly like the idea of his big brute of a father cuddling him like a baby.But big Daddy Nel loves snuggling his kids. It's adorable.
I might either do a black and white manga style for this image, or I might color it, or I might do both.

The first time I scrolled down to this, all I could do was gape in awe at the sheer level of detail on Neltharion. Then, I saw Wrathion's face, and laughed so hard that I woke up my wife from her nap and got a pillow in the face for my trouble. Nicely done!

The expressions are priceless: It totally looks like Nel's doing it on purpose to take Wrathion down a peg, and the latter definitely seems... unamused... at both the situation and the incoming snide remark from Anduin.
Wrathion looks older in this picture than might be expected of a whelp. Given how whelps normally look this definitely turns out in his favor.

Well, according to Knaak's fail book that whelps become drakes after one yearβit's safe to say that Wrathion is basically now a small drake rather than a whelp.

Wrathion's 'not amused' face is pretty epic! Even looks like Anduin is giving some remark to him that he's not particularily happy about either.

Wonderful pic Ghost,but I always imagen the dragon whelps as...well, plup and round little black scaly things with big eyes and the dragon version of dipers on! Buuut this one works just fine!

Amazing..I dread to think of the amount of time spent just on the scales, the hair brings so much motion to the picture too. And having heard Anduin and Wrathion's discussions in game you can imagine Anduin saying something snide to Wrathion to get a plithy and snarky response back.
