Description
Someone like 3 years ago asked me to post up what Allo looked like in his disguise, so I only now decided to do it. However, I also decided to do some updates to Allo's conceptual design as well for the newer version of Antichthon.I may color this one day, but until then.
Yeah, he's wearing a fake beard in his disguise lol.

huh... you know, i think the beard kinda suits him
but damn, his uniform looks pretty cool on him! is that his actual commander uniform? makes me wonder what his space suit looks like, let alone his battle armor if he uses any

Yes, that is his actual commander uniform. I updated it from the previous concept design that I did a while back. But that's the jacket and suit he wears. I don't think he's ever really worn battle armor mostly because he's a naval personnel instead of a Marine personnel. Now, Major Stego and Sergeant-Major "Bonehead" Pacherd will probably be wearing battle armor since they are the marines on board the Dinosaucer's ship. Allo is a naval commander, so he won't be wearing the armor. But that doesn't mean he isn't proficient in weapons.
I kinda got the style of the uniform from Mass Effect, so, maybe a variation of Commander Shepherd's N7 armor, but built to fit an anthro-dino. So it's also an environmental suit capable of going briefly into vacuum environments.

Watch him go to a Halloween party like that, only to have someone comment that his costume sucks.

Yeah, and watch him rip that guy in half afterward. This isn't the same Allo as on the show. This guy has a backbone.

Funny how I only know of the show through TV Tropes... Granted, I watched The Land Before Time series in my younger years instead (along with Magic School Bus and Jurassic Park, the former of which including some very informative interactive CDs).

It's sad that you only know of it from TV Tropes.

Indeed, I should be ashamed of not knowing about a kids show because it wasn't on any of the channels I watched as a young child (which technically amounted to one: TVO Kids). Quite frankly, I didn't even exist when the show was on the air, and to the best of my analysis of the entry on Wikipedia it is unclear as to whether it aired in Canada or not.

Did I say you should be ashamed? I said it's sad you only know of it from a website and never actually watched an episode since it's actually on Youtube. Just because it aired before you were born doesn't mean it isn't still available. I've watched many shows and movies that were made way before my time because I found ways of watching them.

It wasn't until recently that I heard about the show, and I'm at the age that I won't find much interest in it if at all. Cripes, who am I kidding - I watched Disney, educational programming and war movies as a toddler (my feelings of nostalgia right now are found in Donald Sutherland as a loopy tank commander named Oddball, Sir Richard Attenborough as an eccentric billionaire & owner of a dinosaur zoo gone wrong, and Tom Hanks as both Flight Commander James Lovell and a cowboy doll with a pullstring).
To each their own though; Dinosaucers was part of your childhood as much as Magic School Bus was part of mine.

I'm totally convinced. I have no doubt that this is a person and not an anthropomorphic Allosaur I'm looking at.

Well, that was the whole joke behind the show is that these dinosaurs would dress up in "trench coats and fedora hats" and wear human clothing, but do nothing to conceal their faces. They thought that if Superman can wear glasses to conceal his secret identity, then maybe they could do something similar.

At least with the Ninja Turtles, that disguise works because nothing surprises New Yorkers. But Dinosaucers is in a small desert town, right?
I'm just playing along. I wouldn't want his "well-thought out" disguise to fail. (It's hard to do sarcasm when you don't know how to do italics)

Nope, Dinosaucers actually spent most of their time in California around either LA or places like that. And a few times they went to New York.
However, in this version, he's in Cocoa Beach and near Kennedy Space Center.

So I see. Just makes the concept seem even sillier when they just roam around the state like that. Fortunately, they had spaceships, so that keeps out the logical headache of airplane travel.
Still, it IS more plausible than Dino Squad.

Well, not everyone can do it. I say Allo can get away with it because his body is the most humanoid looking.
I've written stories that have a similar issue of disguises for creatures like this, however, most of mine walk around like it's 20 blow outside. There is also a book called Anonymous Rex which details a raptor who through a series of gadgets, can walk around in a "human skin". Basically, he uses clamps to fasten down his snout, tail, claws, use false teeth to cover his real ones. I have All using a tail clamp for his tail, but however, I just don't see him trying to smash his snout down in order to make himself appear more human under a skin. However, I could go the route of having him wear a holographic disguise, but it still won't fix his abnormal height.

The Tyrannos, being bad guys, probably wouldn't bother with disguises, especially since they can't hide the fact that even with holograms, they still talk like 80's cartoon villains.

LOL. Well, the Tyrannos in the show did in fact disguise themselves a few times. Like I said, Genghis Rex dressed like David Bowie in "Sarah had a Lambeosaurus".

Wait, which era of Bowie? 'Cause if you say "Jareth the Goblin King", I will go blind from the mental picture.

Jareth the Goblin King. And no, not kidding. That's why I stated that if he dresses up in the Labyrinth costume, he'd be every furry's dream. Do I need to post it up? I swear, I will.
