I love the intimacy of the framing though. He found out about Wu's Indoraptor? I guess.
John, don't be grumpy! The Indoraptor is dead. But then there's Maisie...and...yeah...you totally make sense in this movie now.

Still it’s not her fault her uncle or whoever that Ludlow2.0 guy was brought all the dinosaurs to her home and sold them to terrorists. Fact is even if she didn’t push the button dinosaurs would’ve gotten out. We just wouldn’t have Rexy in the next movie. So I’d say Maisie made the right call.

Fallen Kingdom could use more John Carter
So I saw this movie twice, and yes I will see it again to really get a feel of things, but I'm about to spoil the movie for you all. So, spoilers!

Did I like this movie?
Yes and no.
It certainly kept my attention, and it was face paced, and oh my god! The Southern Gothic feel of it! Holy shit, that is my jam!
A Southern Gothic movie featuring dinosaurs, I'm sold!
And if it kept that tone, I would have given this thing an A!
We need more movies like that. I'm a huge fan of backlit moon scenes.

Totally should do that with John Carter some time.
But outside of the good things I liked about it, and there certainly are, this movie just bothered me in so many ways. It's not how I had hoped they were going to handle the whole Isla Nublar being destroyed

I'm just saying from a geographical perspective. She was the one who released all of the dinosaurs, KNOWINGLY. So, if she's that competent to think she can balance the world in her hands, shouldn't she logically be held accountable for any damages?

Yeah, but I address that issue in the review though. Also, she is part raptor, which is why I mentioned her and why John would be pissed and why he belongs in this movie.

True. I was kind of expecting her pupils to turn reptilian when they zoomed in on her eyes
