You know it's bad when pretty much the God of the Multiverse is looking at your galaxy with sad eyes.

Takhisis (Tiamat) regrets trapping that monster King Ghidorah in our galaxy. But lucky for her, there's Kiryuu, Alan, Telek, and of course Shepard to kick his ass.

And yes, as you can see, those are the cords Technomancers have at the back of their necks. It is because when a Technomancer Connects to gain their knowledge, they connect directly to our favorite five-headed dragon goddess. Go figure. Bet the Pantheon of Krynn or even D&D in general didn't think that could happen.

One thing you must know, Technomancers do NOT worship Takhisis nor does she want them to. They just use her unlimited knowledge to understand how to warp reality so that they could build starships, weapons, and manipulate matter on a limited level. And also they can upload information to her to be stored for future generations to access. Yeah, that's right, I turned the Queen of Darkness into a gigantic Internet. Tada! I've got an odd imagination.

She looks GREAT! I love it! The head placements reminds me of the classic Tiamat from that D&D cartoon series.

Still, this is the BEST Tiamat fanart out there

Ever considered doing a side view/size relation with your Tiamat here?

It's near impossible to do it since she's the size of the Multiverse.

I feel like I'm looking at Pyrothraxus, Ithfaedeus and Sayan'i when I look at Takhisis' middle and left, right most heads. Yeah, I can see the distinct differences but I still feel like it. The blue head reminds me of a blue dragon from Dragonlance Universe I've recently seen on the Internet. Damned if I know where the Green head come from.

Takhisis is "the most powerful opponent [Kiryuu] has ever faced before" isn't she? Makes sense if she's the unoffical God of the Multiverse. Ghidorah can try, but he's nothing compared to her. Who'da thunk it? But at least, she can admit she's not perfect if the whole thing she told Kiryuu about stuff happening is correct.

Despite her limited apperances, she has to be one of the best characters your odd imagination has created.

Well, the heads of Takhisis are made up of the five Chromatic Dragons. The green dragon there cannot be Sayan'i because Sayan'i is a silver dragon and that's a green dragon. Different species.

For the greens, there's Cyan Bloodbane, Berylinthranox, and a few others. Greens don't get much attention in Dragonlance. It's the blues and the silvers.

In my universe, she is the official god. This isn't the same Takhisis from Dragonlance or the same Tiamat from D&D. She's totally different.

How is she the best? Because she just said: "Shit happens."?

I wasn't referring the GREEN head looking like Sayan'i.

How is she the best? I just told you, she can admit in a rather sly way that she's not perfect, just from the way she said "Shit happens." Even your small discription says she feels regret for trapping King Ghidorah in our galaxy. When it comes to God characters, they're much more enjoyable if they are somewhat "flawed" and not divinely perfect, that would be BORING!

She's also one of those characters that can fight bad boy Kiryuu and win. Now I'm a big Kiryuu fan, but there are times when I feel he's a little bit Mary Sue (BUT ONLY A LITTLE because I had read your Case of Mary Sue essays...even his relationship with Godzilla proves he has flaws), so having characters that can humble him is great 'cause it takes the Mary Sue edge off a lot.

That's why she's one of the best in my mind. Take it as a complement.

He's in the Crimson Dragon. He showed up several times in the first book and even showed up in the second book and revealed who he was as the husband of Takhisis and basically Paladine (Bahamut). I even drew a few images of him, one recent one only a few weeks ago with a link to the chapter that he is in.

Oh! I've only just begun reading Crimson dragon. I got interested when I saw the picture of Pyrothraxus and Sayan'i together. I've read towards the part of the battle between Prothraxus and Ithfaedeus. Well, I guess I just have to continue on reading then.

*sigh* It is a very nice picture of her. However, I absolutely *loathe* the model sheet that WotC stuck the Blues with in 3rd Ed (A)D&D. I've always liked the rendition they were given by Elmore and Claremont for Dragonlance. Actually, the Krynn dragon models look very majestic in general.

Well, I did draw how the blue looks in Dragonlance, but since she's based off of more recent designs, I had to go with that.

I am a little saddend by not seeing her barbed tail, but given the sheer girth she has, the dominating needs of her multiple heads, and the allready massive size of the image, I feel any loss over it xD

Gotta say, I like how the heads seem to have differing levels and kinds of sadness in comparison to the others. The Blue looks more "sternly dissapointed" sad than just sad. it's nice. Also, it is pleasing to see her portrayed in a more maternal role of sorts. So many people get wrapped up her in "Evil" side and the her rage that they forget she IS the Mother of Dragons. even the metallics pay their respects to her in that regard.

Ghostwalker2061 In reply to TheeFirstChildOfSin [2011-05-30 18:49:27 +0000 UTC]

She's got the barb tail, I just kinda forgot to have it curl against her legs. So, it's my fault that it wasn't in there because I just forgot to draw it.

Well, that's the Blue Dragon for you. I always saw the Blues as being very stern creatures.

Oh yeah, she's looking like a mother here, just weeping in sadness that she has to trap that horrible monster in a galaxy, knowing the damaging effects he'll have on it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Letdragon In reply to Ghostwalker2061 [2011-05-30 18:11:44 +0000 UTC]

Bottom line? Pretty epic. I'd never have imagined her that huge though. I'm so used to seeing her down at a level where people would look up at her and not strain their necks doing so. You do get points for going "mega macro"

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Ghostwalker2061 In reply to Letdragon [2011-05-30 18:18:06 +0000 UTC]

Oh, she's bigger than that. Best way to describe it is...take the size of what we know how big the universe is and quadruple it. And that's the size of Takhisis. When she was trying to save the Multiverse from falling apart because of what Vecna did, she reached out to every dimension, took hold of them and pulled them together with her claws.

Now, she can change size to something much smaller, but still, because of what she is, she is ENORMOUS.

Letdragon In reply to Ghostwalker2061 [2011-05-30 18:23:29 +0000 UTC]

Believe me, I'm used to thinking about mind-blowing sizes so quadruple the size of our universe is actually small potatoes to the insane sizes I've pondered about XD

maxvision92 [2011-05-30 17:58:38 +0000 UTC]

It's weird; I've never thought of Tiamat as more than a god of evil, and a convenient origin for dragon-hybrid monsters; never expected to see her, if you'll pardon me, "human" side. How heavy it must weigh upon her to even think about how much a creature like Ghidrah, from a dimension beyond reality, can do to a universe she worked so hard to rebuild.
