For my brothers in Libya, and Libyans everywhere.

The green flag has no place anymore over a Libyan land.
God bless you.

The first casualty in War is - the truth
[link]

The West lied yet again, just as they did about WMDs in Iraq, uranium from Niger, babies stolen from incubators, again and again - lie after lie after lie... Yet strangely some fools allow themselves to keep believing the same liars! That amazes me.

The revolution is not a lie. I know Qaddafi is one of the Arab leaders who opposed the west's opinions, especially USA and Britain. Yet, he was a crazy man, who oppressed his people and stole the people's money. Instead of educating his country like he educated his kids in the finest school in Europe, he spent the money over trivial materials like the millions his son gave to Juve the italian football club.

The revolution is real. Not media thingy. Not USA/UN/European conspiracy.

He was not "crazy", that's just BS demonisation always used by European governments when they want to steal some oil and land or other resources. He NEVER oppressed his people, do you even KNOW anything about him besides that rubbish you see on TV?
Your ignorance is astounding, but perhaps understandeable if your only source was the lies on TV.

i live in Egypt, btw. You know this country that is stuck to Libya from the east? I have friends there. Have you read his "green book" which is the Libyan Constitution?

It's not ignorance, they always diverge significant events into some conspiracy theory. Yes, I believe Iraq war was a big fat lie. the same with Afghanistan and other eastern countries but what happened in Libya wasn't a "conspiracy" against Libya. The revolution was a natural reaction to a 47 years of shit, and instead of listening to those people who oppose him, he killed them. (what a great leader.)

And dun say my source is TV, your sources are tv & radio mixed in Youtube which is powered by... Google? isn't it owned by Zionists?

Dictator's don't hand out millions of guns to the people of their country and say "Here take this, defend me". Dictators don't give their people homes before their own parents get a home, and keep a promise like that until every single person in their country has a home. Dictators don't write something like the Green Book and preach of Direct Democracy either; yes I have read it. The man was/is a genius. Dictators don't provide free electricity, free education, and pay for half the price of your car. Dictators don't pay for you to go to university in any country that you want to go, and pay the whole cost of those fees. Dictators don't go down the street out in the open with nothing to protect them, shaking hands with the common people, and being welcomed wherever they go.
Qaddaffi's military didn't do what you claim, the propaganda excuse from NATO was debunked by Amnesty International and Russian military intelligence. There was zero evidence of a massacre. No Libyan planes were bombing their own people. If you believed that they did, then you were conned. It's ignorance when you don't know what's really going on. It's worse ignorance when your only response is to dismiss evidence and truth as "conspiracy theory" like a good brainwashed prole. Only fools have such an unthinking knee-jerk response when presented with evidence that their "authority figures" are lying to them
[link]
I've provided many more sources
[link]
than just Youtube, and Youtube is not responsible for the content of the people who post on it, btw. They are not a news service.
However, I trust people who can actually post truthful verifiable materials
[link]
instead of sources which have repeatedly been caught lying (re: the fake "Green Square" set-up in Qatar, the BBC report of Libyans cheering Qaddaffi's fall but being so stupid to show video of Indians in India waving the Indian flag and thinking that people couldn't tell the difference). So, yeah, if you believe such sources, it's ignorance because only fools trust a source which lies all the time.

You have no right to accuse me of being something i am not. Dictators can provide all the things you listed and I can't say if those things are true or not, similar things happen everywhere in the middle east, it happens in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and others.
Do you know why they have guns? because they are tribes, they defend themselves.

I can say you can't differentiate between democracy and dictatorship.

Dictators kill/banish/prison those who oppose them which happened to many people in Libya and some of them weren't Libyans. He didn't listen. He likes cheering for him. Democrats listen.
I am not calling anyone democratic, but you have assumed I call western countries Democratic as you did with the rest of your comments "plain assumptions".
And if you think the Green Book is a masterpiece, and this man is a genius then I don't think we will ever land on one ground. I think this book is rubbish.

I didn't watch TV much about Libya, I took the words from the tongues of people who "lived there."

you can call me names, but I dun support Qaddaffi nor his system, and I guess enough people were killed. They are the ones who raised the old flag, not me, not you, not NATO. Start accepting the fact that he's leaving and forget about it. They have the right to choose for themselves and they have brains to decide their future, it's not your case, not mine. it's not your business, not mine. I have felt like doing a graphical piece to support my neighbors and share their feelings that i shared before them.

If you have a further opposition, i dun think it would be necessary to be told here because I dun give a damn.

Thanks for your comment.

You keep repeating claims from TV and the western media that were already debunked. The fact is that Qaddaffi's military didn't kill thousands or even hundreds of the Libyan people, and the people in Libya know that. "lived there" is past tense; try talking to people who are there NOW - they tell a very different story from the lies pushed by NATO. Have you seen any shots of HUGE crowds of protestors in Libya like the size of those in real revolutions, or just tight-angled shots of a few dozen people? There were huge demonstrations in Libya, they were demonstrations in support of the Qaddaffi and against NATO's threats. I posted links; read them, watch them, come with facts, not repetition of propaganda. No way do you liberate a people by bombing them, and NATO definitely isn't there for the goodwill of Libya.

believe me, i dun give a fuck about NATO and i dun give a fuck about what's happening to Qaddaffi. It took more than what it deserves. I follow Libyans on twitter and they were happy to get Tripoli and Azizia. All I am noticing is, Libyans are flooding to Egypt and this doesn't seem so good. why would they come in those huge numbers if their country is a lovely place?
You should come to Libya if you want to know for yourself. you get your info from the propaganda too, because we can't be in the middle of the situation. you will read things against NATO, others supporting it, you will read things against Qaddaffi, others support him, i listened to this man talking in his speeches, and he's a madman. He said, Egyptians and Tunisians had put ecstasy in the milk Libyans drink. what the hell does that mean?
You think the man is a genius, and NATO are evil. I haven't looked thoroughly at this case, and i am not really interested. Libya had always been some tribes and a couple of cities. which is weird to the 21st century but they are comfortable this way.
If the supporters are too many, Qaddaffi would never go. We've got nothing to do but to stand and stare. Drop it. you know why? because even if you persuaded me that Qaddaffi is a good man, i won't change a thing because i can't. It's a war.

You fell for those 100,000 fake twitter accounts set-up in English from March? Do you have any idea how unpopular Twitter actually is in Libya, or that there's NO INTERNET in Libya the past 10 days?
The following is the RT news report about the fake Twitter accounts

first of all the accounts i follow are set up in arabic, second i was busy in the whole past 2 months didn't keep up with what's going on, their revolution started Feb 17th. not 10 days ago. I believe you should stop commenting, i told you before that i dun give a shit about your cause. You want to defend Libya go to Libya, call the cnn, bbc, or whatever, I am not the UN, I am not in a position of power or interest to do anything defending this cause, i have told you in a previous comment what i feel. I have heard his speech, his words, and I believe that he's mentally ill. You're trying to impose your personal opinion and conclusions on everyone.

Lovelynice In reply to GhuneiM [2011-09-01 14:54:59 +0000 UTC]

I'm not "defending" Libya, I'm just very much against mass murder of civilians and the spreading of lies to excuse this; which is what NATO and the North Atlantic bloc governments are engaging in. I've heard two versions of Qaddaffi's speech, one was the altered (& cut shorter) kind put on by the corporate media to mislead, the other was the original (learn a lot by seeing what's being censored). I disagree; he's not mentally ill, that's just typically recycled demonisation of the enemy as used in all wars. I'm not imposing my personal opinion at all, I'm just disagreeing with yours while mentioning links to support the facts that i've pointed out where you claimed something that wasn't actually true. It's not a "revolution" either, but you want to keep believing such nonsense, go ahead.

His speech was about an hour and a half. can it get any longer? it wasn't cut. Your links are just opinions! it's the same of what bbc and other media do but in a different direction.
I can't care less btw, Because you're not in Libya, i am not in Libya, the mass media is lying, people are dying there. You have heard stuff here and there, i have heard stuff here and there. Neither of us can prove a point to be right because neither of us seen what's going on. The only thing we can do is to stop this argument because it is not interesting.

I didn't? Excuse me, you're the one who calls me by names since you started the whole argument. It appears that you dunno how to speak with people, respect them nor their points of view. I told you, it's not of my own business but you appear to be one of Qaddaffi's fans and a fundamentalist to his system.

Anyways, this conversation is no longer desired.
