This picture means a lot to me.Everyday I come on to dA hoping someone will notice my art, leave me a message, watch me, anything just so i know that someone cared about my artwork even for a second. Normally this doesn't happen. Usually the only messages in my inbox are "thanks for the Favs" and Favs. (which I could care less about really) So if you come across this please comment or comment and fav. Avoid faving and running (even though most people still will) I could talk about the personal symbolism more but I don't feel like it at the moment
Anyway The binary code actually means stuff. I put a "/" in between each word and "//" between each phrase.
If you can actually figure it out I will do something special (probably draw you something

Thanks to everyone who comments on this saying something along the lines of "I can connect to this" "I've felt this way" because it means a lot.
It's really made me feel like I've actually made my mark on the world and it's a small one (for right now) but it really makesme happy and feel like a true artist.

I really love the concept you expressed with this piece. I feel that you have touched upon a universal feeling in our new tech world, but one that no one really talks much about.

Ahh, I feel like that way too often. I was raised without a father and my mom was always, always busy, so I was left with never ending craving for attention, support and praise. Then, I was bullied in school, so I graduated with a deep emotional flaw and very low self-esteem. It took me years to overcome all these thing and pulling back from people helped me not care about what they think about me, because really, I don't feel very important as a person. My art, though, is my whole life and I just can't overcome this all when it comes to it. I want to be recognized as an artist, I want to have readers, fans, watchers, but it just doesn't work that way and it's actually heart-breaking. That's why I left dA the first time -- people were deliberately interested in my drawings and pixels, which I did just for fun, just wanted to try it, but they completely ignored my stories which are the most important for me. This got me pretty much depressed and then the uni chimed in, so I left, because I didn't want to waste my time on something that's not rewarding at all.
I realized my mistake eventually, but now I have to build my whole gallery and friend list from the beginning. So learn on my mistakes and DO NOT leave dA because you feel bad at the moment. Wait it off -- it'll get better, even if only because there are so many awesome people here. You've just gotta be patient.

Your welcome. And I hate that feeling of your "true passion" not getting recognized too. I actually have my own story idea, but haven't really done much with it because I's afraid I don't have the talent to execute it well. Also I don't think I will leave dA anyway, since I have quiet a few friends here I support and even if do get frustrated it is easy to just go on hiatus and return when I'm ready again.
