Description After much work, I've finished designs for the different Credo units in ToEx.

The S-units are referred to as Shell and the C-units are Carapace, hence the letters assigned.

I've also included a new logo design I'm working with.

EDIT: Updated with relevant bio information

Credo Soldier Classes:

S-21 Soldier:

Standard 'Shell' oufit

standard fused rifle w/38 inch bayonet.

*Used for all operations. S-21s are the standard shell for a reason. Versatile, well-balanced and fast, they are highly effective in small groups, even when outnumbered. Their cloak is used to cover the light coming off their backs to avoid making them too obvious a target.

S-22 Reaper

Standard armor, night vision oculus

specialized injector rifle w/chemical ammunition

*This type is strictly specialized for abduction of test subjects, using the Credo's potent experimental chemical which causes subjects to pass out. After a brief hibernation period, the subject's body begins to produce large amounts of supplemental mana for harvesting. However, if the chemical fails, the subject can die during the hibernation period. At this point it is estimated that the chemical has up to a 91% failure rate, judging from the rate of bodies found. The reaper's armor is treated with an outer coating to black out the armor for nighttime operations.

S-23 Assassin

Enhanced mobility hardware, specialized oculus device

high-caliber 'escapement' sniper rifle, fires both armor-piercing and 'shrieking' ammunition (for diversionary purposes)

*Sniper units used in times of heavy opposition. Although they are called assassins, their attention is evenly distributed between targets. Once in position, they will fire on anything and everything that comes into view. Usually work in a triad, to cover each individual sniper's dead zones.

S-31 Screamer

Highly robust frame and enhanced physical capacity

Weighted dual-action chain sword

*Screamers are legendary. Used only at night, their weapon is said to produce a sound very similar to human screaming. Although they use darkness as cover to break up forces, silence is not a part of their strategy. Once broken up, forces are surrounded and taken out individually, using the weapon's loud noise to create confusion. Their other task is clearing the battlefield of wounded, hence, being left wounded in the wake of a Credo assault is considered a nightmare scenario. No screamer kills have ever been confirmed.

S-24 Volnus

Enhanced visibility, wide range oculus, reinforced neck

Two single edged swords, unknown alloy

*Favored primarily in large battles, the Volnus is the rarely seen, primary melee unit for the Credo. Although not very heavily reinforced, their recklessness makes their movements hard to predict and that makes the Volnus a huge tactical thorn in the side of any commanding officer.

S-29 Soldier, Mana Fusion

Mana-Augmented frame

None

*When in possession of abundant mana from a variety of spirits, the Credo are able to produce enhanced 'fusion' shells that carry mana around with them. This, they use to produce their own weapons, allowing them to alter their combat strategy at will. Their limbs have all been augmented to take full advantage of the power they have been given.

S-32 Screamer, Mana Fusion

Mana-Augmented frame

Infused chain sword

*Screamers still use their primary weapon once fused, but their enhanced abilities make them a lot bolder in how they wield it. They are willing to take greater risks in order to cause more damage.

Credo Hunter Classes:

C-11 Hunter

Standard Carapace frame

8in radius cannon w/hexanion anti-shield sub-cannon, 4m cast alloy blade

*Rarely seen but extremely threatening, Carapace units are almost 3 times the size of a shell unit and can tear through buildings, armor and shields. Why these units are deployed is not readily understood, but it is believed that they were developed specifically to deal with soldiers that use dragon scales in combat.

C-12 Ravager

Iron fused, increased size carapace frame

4in radius multi-cannon w/high-explosive ammunition, hexanion sub-cannon,

5m arc chain sword

*Ravagers are built for using maximum ordinance, deployed only for the most extreme tasks. Their frame is 30% larger than a normal hunter.

C-19 Stealth Hunter

Reduced size, reinforced frame

2.8m retractable blades, 2 compact dispersion cannons

*The so-called 'stealth hunter' is a purpose built, melee specialized carapace variation. Their speed and agility are remarkable for their size and the durability of their frame is enough to withstand an impact of several times their own weight. The dispersion cannons produce an unknown type of visual 'smoke' screen. The substance that obscures vision does not react to light or wind. The only way an area can be cleared once subjected to the screen is for it to disperse over time. It's the same type of screen used by other Credo divisions, but in this case, it's compacted for single unit, on-site use.

 C-14 Titan Hunter

Mana-enhanced carapace frame

anion-fused weighted blade, 6in radius, long barrel railcannon

*Titan hunters are the mana-fused versions of the Carapace/hunter units. Their speed is much greater than other hunters.

C-27 Slayer

Mana-enhanced frame, reinforced pneumatic limbs

twin 2.5m blades, 10in radius cannon w/hexanion sub-cannon

Engineered to the maximum standard with both forging and mana fusion technologies. Their famres are 50% larger than a normal hunter.

Thanks! Yeah, it's funny, you wouldn't expect those stylish capes with creatures like these, yet I still can't really imagine them without them.
