I remember looking at insect larvae when working for entomology in college and some species had somewhat transparent skin at certain stages of development and one could see their innards and food moving through their GI tract... Neat colors on yours, too.

as said before, the colors are beautiful. nautilus in a nautilus - lends a very primordial sea kind of feel to it. reaction at the beginning of life? maybe...
