Yes my friend Javier did a wonderful job. There are over 60 of my flames in it. The original is huge. 6000 x something.

I read that.. have you got it printed in a large size?

I am sceptical about larg size print quality unless one does it in a real expensive method and even then the colors would fade quickly I suspect. When I run out of greeting cards I get some fractal images that seem to fit the occasion printed on glossy photo paper and stick them on plain, folded cards in matching colors. I do look at galleries and therefore I loose a lot of "playtime" but I guess somebody has to look at the stuff on display

You may laugh but I've never had or seen any of my work in print until this past Monday.
One of my friends here thought I should see one of my flames in print. She was kind enough to print and sent me a version from the post. I was amazed at the quality.
I may take the original to a print shop and have it done. I really only enjoy the creation
process and rarely look at my renders. I never look at the fractal galleries.

Hi Terry,
I still am amazed that this old guitar player can get anyone
to look at my stuff let alone "inspire" guys like you . It is
hard to beleive its three years since the ol' Redawg started
to look at my stuff and get ideas. I have over a 1000 pics
over at RenD and 500 here.
What is the new 3D program you mentioned? Have you
heard of Xeondream ? I saw it a while back but there wasn't
a trial copy. It seems to make nice 3D ish fracts.
I just wish once we got to a nice old age of say 50 the good old
goverment would say hey retire and do what what you want.
Go enjoy your life. Fractals take a long time to render. I started
a Apo and a VOC before I went to bed . It's now 6:44 AM and the
Apo says 4 more hrs and the VOC ifs is still cooking. Yeow!
Well I hope I continue to inspire you my friend. I await your
entrance in the fracal world. I see people that make fractals
in Tgen and I always thought it was a terrain generator. There
is a lot of possibilities in this brave new world of computer art.

Take care and thanks for the great comments.

Mickey

I started a collection of free fractal apps last year. Got about 8 of them (can't remember the names) They're still sitting on the shelf collecting dust! The 3D apps I refer to are as follows:

Bryce 5
Poser 4 & 5
Lightwave 6.5 & 7
Okinos' Nugraph
Max 4
Vue d' Esprit

These apps were all running on my old computer before the "Big Crash"
My back-up is not powerful enough to run them & it crashes every time I try.
Until I can get a new computer I'm stuck playing with Terragen.
