Description
Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it. It is fearlessness, and it is love. - The Buddha Siddhartha Gautama (563-483 B.C.)Related content

One of my personal favorite quotes from Gautama Buddha. And that image of the (golden) Silver Surfer is cool too!

Wow..I like it! I also really like the quote. I have read a little about Shambhala, Agartha, and other inner-world stories and accounts. It's all fascinating. There was also a scientist who had a theory about it...I forget his name...

There is often, at least a few grains of truth, in even the most imaginative of dialogues....

I was thinking buddha before I even read your description. Nice pose and light on the clouds make a very nice back lighting for this image.
