Description
(posted 9-4-2011)Yeah, so I just remembered this picture I had on my grandparent's computer and decided to upload it. The person in the picture is either a) me as an Assassin or b) my OC Raven. Since the assassin is missing a finger I'm guessing it's me.
This picture was drawn some months ago, some time around March or April I believe. I started working on it at around 10 PM that night to nearly 2 AM drawing it. I'm not kidding.Drawn with Microsoft Paint, using a mouse. No doubt the best (and one of the only) thing I've drawn so far with Paint.
I think I did a good job, however I'm not fully satisfied with the robes, sword, and hood. Body shape definitely could've been better. And the hair looks terrible in my opinion(oh well I did my best). The part that definitely went the best was drawing the arms, more specifically the hands and the weapons (hidden blade+gauntlet and the short blade, and pretty much everything elbow-down).
Comments are appreciated, critique more so.
EDIT (9/16/2011): For some reason the lines are curved more than they should be. Please ignore this, it wasn't intentional...

If you did this on your computer then you're way better at digital drawing than I am! XD
I like the dagger, and I can see where the finger was until the hidden blade replaced it. XP

This was an older pic. I'm sure I could do this better. It was mostly done with the pencil tool (on the contour lines) and I spent like 4 hours on it.
I just generally don't like drawing with a mouse without lineart because it's hard to do things how I like.

Yea, it seems like I can't do really great stuff unless I spend HOURS on it, or maybe DAYS. ERG
This is great though, much better than I can do now and this was quite a while ago for you. You're really good!

Well being honest, this isn't bad if you did this with a mouse im not going to say great but its good with a mouse. sure your anatomy needs a bit of work but with a bit of practice i think it will look great!

This could definitely use a lot of work. You should probably study a little more anatomy for your future works. Not a bad concept, but probably could have been executed better.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be harsh. I know how difficult correct anatomy can be. I know a few resources that can help you, if you want.

One really good one is Anatomy Plz. Helps teach basic anatomy in drawing. Another good resource is the art of Genzoman. He is really good with anatomy, and has a few tutorials. Of course, there is no substitute for good study of anatomy. These are just a few resources on the internet, so keep looking.
