hmmm.... after looking at this page again, this time fully awake, I realised something... This is even more disturbing... What happen they they "kill" the soulless by destroying that mark... does it destroy the remaining part of the soul, is so, then what happens to the one that Zielo has? And does that mean that Sonic and the rest just killed all of inhabitants of that town... including Tails and rest? I hope not, Tails is my favourite character.

A zombie is a corpse said to be revived by witchcraft, especially in certain African and Caribbean religions. When zombies walk around to terrorize others, they are usually associated with eating brains, which in the process also turns the other into a zombie.
So far I don't think the soulless are very close to the relation of a zombie. The closest thing they have to a zombie is a rotting body that pretty much looks like a corpse. Other than that, not really.
