My first try at making a calendar.The theme is "A Different Look At Israel" which is a project I've been doing for 5 years now. My different view, as a photographer and a writer, at Israel. My country, that often looks as a war zone over world media, and deserves a more "personal" point of view.
I hope you like it, and show your support to Israel, and of course to my work as well

wonderful. what a contrast to the pictures in the news with bombs, conflicts and so on. such a beautiful country...hope to visit israel soon. just a little bit scared yet because of suicidebombers and so on.

This is an absoloutely amazing calendar Gilad, if you decide to create a way in which we could purchase this it would be a pleasure to buy a few to give as gifts for 2008 and to have on my wall. Perhaps an idea to give a small percentage to an Israeli charity? I think there is one for the soldiers. My motive for that idea was because they are the ones responsible for defending the beautiful land that enables us as photographers to capture Israel's beautiful scenery. Just a thought!

One of my Jewish friends is headed over to Israel through a program over here, Birthright. Dang, I envy her. I would love to visit someday.
