Description
Allow me to take you on a trip
A walk on the other side
Ready? Here you go
On your left you can see another you
Nice to meet you, me
On your right, is the end of this side
The start of the other, right?
Under your shoes hides a place
A place of your yesterdays, looking up
Now look out,
Look up
You see?
Me?
You see who?
You.
I think you must be high or low
Common, here we go
A walk on the other side
****
It's all in understanding what you see
If you can see
See?

well, obviously you couldn't completely control the composition of this one, but i don't like how it turned out. the rest - colors, tonality, moment - i like

that description made me laugh inwardly.
love that poem.
(it sounds a bit like something i would write.... )
your photos of reflections are amazing.
i never used to think much about reflections;
mostly just not giving attention to it...
but you've shown me, with your photos,
how wonderful reflections can be.
i was inspired. thanks you.
your reflections are always so perfect!
it's your forte, i must say.
the angle, the lighting.... etc.
just like this piece.
the reflection was caught perfectly;
even with their hands in sync!
i love how the dirty green of the road blends in with the sky.
and the shadows casted on them because of the sun...
it's just lovely.

Great composition and colors. At first, I didn't realize it was a puddle reflection until I momentarily stopped concentrating so much on the details and looked at the photo as a whole. As ~ns-dante had mentioned, their walking poses look a bit unnatural, but I think the angle and position of their arms and legs really emphasizes on the poem/comment you wrote. It also adds a feeling inertia, starting on a journey (A walk on the other side).
Strangely, one of the things I like about the shot are the small pebbles that are in the puddle that add texturing to the sky. Set diagonally from the edge of the puddle in the lower left hand corner, it gives the scene a very dreamy, surreal feal which I think is quite fitting.
Needless to say, this is an instant ;D.

you've done several of these puddle reflections, but this is definately my favourite, except that one at the beach but thats different.
An amazing shot. Great tone to the image. The walking looks a little unatural but still, very nice indeed.

Your reflections are always my favorite.
To me it's like catching our world in a different dimension almost.
A parallel universe where things are different; beautiful.
Thank you for this one...

You know most of the time I get frustrated when I look at your pictures. They are so nice, so original so fabulous! You are an artist with a great talent and a real photographer eye. You are able to do something wonderful just with a quick view of a scene. Really, I love your work...! *Wonderful.

Cool picture .. and .. your comment would make a great song. Okay, maybe a poem too but really, I think it could be all New Age'y/Emo'esque and properly done up by Green Day or Panic At The Disco.
I hope I got their name right! lol
Anyway, it's lovely! Thanks for sharing!
