Description
I was so caught up in my thoughts
That I wasn't aware I was actually caught in the moment
The day faded for a brief moment, and the night has yet to come
And there I was, a statistic in a heavenly painting of twilight
In this moment, I felt I was in the presence of god.
And he was guiding me to close my eyes and simply listen.
I was blind to the world, but listening to god.
He was silent, whispering with the waves.
When I opened my eyes, the moment was over.
But the power of that silence stayed with me.
And from time to time, I simply go blind and listen to myself.
Caught in the Moment.

Tel Aviv beach, Israel.
They don't call it the Holy land for nothing...
I've took the shot in NEF (that's the Nikon RAW) and underexposed the sky to get the deep colours.
I've used a Tripod, caused the light was a little low.
In PS I've autoleved it, and contrasted it, to get the color seperation out.
No manipulation, so please stop asking that...
Full view, please

saw 'Colors of My Soul' in the popular gallery and came over to see what else you had done . A lot of interesting work - you obviously have quite a following so that's no shock .
I would be curious to know if this is the way it appeared to you as you took the shot or if the steps you mention (underexposing the sky etc) to emphasise the underlying color brought out detail that the naked eye would miss .
This is the morning sun rising ?
Beautiful image - really love the reflection of the sky colors in the wafer . Wonder if the cloud in the foreground is at a different level than that it the background - I know here the way the sunset (late sleeper - not a lot of sunrise experience) can really draw out the colors in wonderful ways .
thanks

I love the painting. I'm a new photographer coming up in the world. I have only a few pics in my gallery, but I'm working on getting more. Check me out? I'd love feedback. Surely artists and photographers like yourselves could have some advice for a novice.

i hope that one day i'm half the photograhper you r whether they're real or not, it still takes sum skill to create colours like that in photoshop, and still make it look realistic, anyone who judges this ARTIST should take a minute , look at their work and think, are my photos, painting, or drawing whatever anywhere nears as good as this photo. i'm sorry if that rant has annoyed ne1 but u haters really pi$$ me off.

What a marvelous result. I love the reflection of the color in the water as much as I love the sky.
