I really like the depth of field and I think it's strange how the bird that is facing the opposite way to the others stands out.

Remember that the equiv focal length on that would be 600... 10 Meters is approximately 30 feet, the slightest camera shake at that level would decimate the shot. In other words, quite impressive. I'm curious, was this hand held or did you use a tripod? Either way, this is a great shot, and is hading straight into my

That's quite a cool picture! The only thing that i can comment on is that i would have perhaps used a slightly smaller aperture to get a bit more of the birds in the shot - I think it would add more to the shot if you could see all these little heads popping out of the line, rather than have them blurred, but hey, that's just my opinion!

My first thought when I saw this on a bigger screen (on the computer) was that I'm happy I shot this with such shallow DOF.
I feel that it adds to the feeling of the long line, when actually the line wasn't that long
