Description
In mid Tel-Aviv, they sold a huge wall for advertising and covered it with a poster for a fashion company. The poster is very provocative, mybe a bit too much.
You go down the street and find yourself passing between some girl legs...
I see this a statment of the commercial gods, sending their "models" to look down on the little common people, like us.
You can see another example of this street photography here

this is an excellent capture.. glad someone got it!
hilarious how the guy walking seems to be looking right into her legs, but trying to look like he's not... and the big model man is watching him, waiting to crush him with a pinky. excellent excellent timing. you've got a damn good reflex and sense of comp!

What's fascinating is how 3D the poster looks. Crazy. Definitely a surprise from the thumbnail .

VERY provocative, makes me hate the models and their artificialness, and the corporations they ignorantly represent.
They way you chose to offset the real life passer-by right in between the male and the female, and the general set-up of the shot to capture such a HUGE ad, is awesome. Also the way the innocent-looking guy walking along is looking right in between the woman's legs is quite telling about mankind in general....

I know her!!! Shes an Argentine model... What I think about this kind of things is that they are trying to make us think thats the sexy cannon and I hate it..people stop thinking or feeling or leaving there own likes and dislikes to be a part of "correct" society. Nothing..my englishΒ΄s not so good.

Oh my god is it real, it's not a photomanipulation
A great shot for a drammatic problem actually...I don't find this kind of advertising "creative", but just too much provocative, and when you work in this way usually it means that you don't have a better idea.
(in my opinion, and not for a moral position!)

A bold turn on. It's got power, sex, and the rudiment necessity of survival. Odd how the true survivors are the ones who twist at our perversion and desire...

you attached a great and valid concept to this piece. not that i find the actual billboard too provocative, but the fact that the pedestrian is indeed walking at the height of her crotch...hmm. i wonder if that was the advertiser's intent. you did a good job in capturing this, the billboard looks almost "realer" than the guy walking. go figure!

i agree looking at this i dont think on the product or the cloths or whatever all that comes in my mind its THE GIRL and im not the only one i dont say its stupid but maybe they should how to say ''recheck? 'retouch'' their advertising because on the first look at that, what comes in mind its isnt adriana lima ? hummm heh and after seen the girl you just lost intrest in it, and go away without really knowing what was all about.

Unlike takeyourhatred, I DO feel like a very common average person. Must be pretty weird to walk between a girls legs like this, lol. I've never seen a poster like that blown up to such size. Cool deviation! ^_^

I love the comparison between the sleezy sexyness of the wall girl and the geekyness of the passer by. The contrast of their colours and his red gear also makes the picture work better.

I heavily dislike your exclamation for this piece. It seems to be more of a statement of paranoia than of commercial tactics.
"...little common people, like us." -There is no "us". I don't feel like a little common person. Do you? Do you just assume other people will as well? Of course that statement could have been sarcasm on your part. But then if you don't think you really are common or little than what's the point you're trying to make?
What exactly are these models provoking anyway? Envy? Lust? Awe? If you feel envy it means you want to better yourself, and what's wrong with that? Envy is an important part of ambition. It's no-one's fault but your own if you don't actually do anything to better yourself. Lust is healthy and natural. That's why porn is legal. Awe is just admiration of beauty, and we'd live in a very shit world indeed if we couldn't admire anything.
So you pass by a big pair of womans legs when you're walking down the street, so what? Every woman you pass has a pair of legs, covered or not. You'd see the same amount of flesh at your local swimming pool. Are you really that prudish? Or is it only a problem when the flesh on display is that of someone attractive? I suspect the genuine message from this piece is "Oh look, a big picture of good looking people. I'm harbouring secret insecurities about sex and my appearence so I'll use this picture to express emotions that I am otherwise incapable of dealing with".
People like beauty. People like sex. It's human-nature. What exactly is your problem?

I do feel a part of us, and i do belive we are all common people, when walking dpwn the street.
We are not special indeviduals walking down a crowded street.
Stand on a tall roof and look down at all the heads walking down the street. Do you really feel everyone is different from that prespective?
That's what i mean when i say "common people like us". From the advertises point of view. They aim at us with no special intrest in you, but in a general population.
When you force people, all people, do deal with issues of sex, just walking down the street, it's called provocation.
You can choose to look at porn all day, and mybe you do. Non of my buisness.
You can say lust is good, I agree.
You can say you pass women legs, that's true.
What does all that has to do with this poster and my message?
It's a good thing you disagree with me, and find my message laim.
It's ok to feel differently. Just don't assume i don't really think that. That's a pure insult.
