Description
Let me take a fly with you
Across the sky, slicing out small clouds
Let me go high where my problems look small
I should close my eyes but I see for the very first time
Let me get some air beneath my human wings
The wind throwing me where my mind never been before
Let me take a fly with you
Just for once take me with you, your bird watcher
***
This was taken near Cassis, situated on the Mediterranean coast, about 20 km east from Marseille, France.
I was driving around the French Riviera when I was visiting Marseille for an exhibition I did there. I noticed this guy standing on the ledge while driving so I pulled out the car. While getting closer a flock of birds escaped my footsteps and while surprised I was able to capture that, and it gave the frame a beautiful dynamics. I converted the frame to B&W and toned it a bit.

Love the way the birds movements look tranparent... (guess that's the dynamic you mentioned) But, once again, I don't like the guy in the rock... I think it would have been great without him, to me it ruins the birds dymanic...

Wonderful.
I guess a lot of people don't really know that birds can fly exceedingly fast. And those may not have been just "regular" birds. ;D

I bought a print of this and it arrived today and I am extremely pleased with it! It is even more beautiful in the flesh - I love the unexpected subtle gradations of colour in there.
Now for a suitable frame and I am all set to hang it where I can enjoy it properly.
Keep well and may your life of photography prosper!

That's the holy graal of spontaneous photography... Perfect! I'm gonna write an analysis on this for school, I hope you don't mind. I'll give you full credit and all, all I need is a picture I did NOT take myself. Cheers and favs!

Wow.
What luck to have captured that! I'm loving the motion blur of the birds' wings. It adds a great deal to the shot!

this is amazing, what shutter speed did u use for this? 'Coz its very soft, aside the movement you captured...is that due to the ISO...which one plays the biggest part in the effect. Powerful Capture...

This is stunningly beautiful! I like the blur of the bird's wings...and the framing of the man slightly to the right...gives the image a nice weight while still feeling weightless due to the birds in flight.

so, I wonder if you actually know some the people you take pictures of or they are just random characters that appear in the perfect scene to make the perfect photograph. Amazing picture, love the motion in it.
