Description
Let me take a fly with you
Across the sky, slicing out small clouds
Let me go high where my problems look small
I should close my eyes but I see for the very first time
Let me get some air beneath my human wings
The wind throwing me where my mind never been before
Let me take a fly with you
Just for once take me with you, your bird watcher
***
This was taken near Cassis, situated on the Mediterranean coast, about 20 km east from Marseille, France.
I was driving around the French Riviera when I was visiting Marseille for an exhibition I did there. I noticed this guy standing on the ledge while driving so I pulled out the car. While getting closer a flock of birds escaped my footsteps and while surprised I was able to capture that, and it gave the frame a beautiful dynamics. I converted the frame to B&W and toned it a bit.

Wow. This is a really awesome print!! I love the movement of the birds and how everything else is solid. And how it's black and white but the plants look like there may be a hint of color. Nice job!

sparrows are my favorite to watch, they are so full of joy. seagulls that float on the wind like kites are a very close second.

This reminds me of one of Basho's verses written before his death:
This autumn
Why am I aging so?
Flying towards the clouds, a bird.
Fantastic work.

I noticed this sandwich of two pictures and thought it was nice ,but don't lie to people saying that the shutter speed was 1/6400 .
The birds picture has a light value of 9 and if you had actually taken that picture with a shutter speed of 1/6400 , f/5 aperture and, if your iso was 1600 ,then the exposure value would be 13 ,or 18 if the iso was 50.
But then again it's doenst even matter ,because even a hummingbird's wings would be frozen at that shutter speed , their wings flap at most ,200 times per second ,or maybe in southern france they have birds that can flap their wings faster than 6400 times per second ! Holy cow , I'm calling national geographic !

inspired me to wrtie this If only
To fly away
My troubles gone
If only
Tranquillity whispers
The softness calling
If only
White feathers dipped in ink
Black thoughs not to think
Slowly racing, slowly gaining
My sanity worth saving
If only
