I miss the color. It is strange for me to think of a tree as cold and colorless.

Glorious as always...the reflections in the water really make the piece.
Question: Any thoughts on the Canon Rebel XTi?
I'm thinking of moving to digital as far as my color photography goes. With black and white I'll stick mainly to my 35mm Rebel.

why does the water look as if the camera was moving fast past it? but everything else looks so calm... er maybe it's just my eyes
anyway, the photo, along with the title, is really cool, as always

I don't know why, but it reminds me, as a skin feeling, Boeklin's Island of the Dead.
Great shot.

Colors are great and the subtle movement in the water ads so much to the picture.
I love it.

The colros in this are amazing! Not bright, just so... vivid. Everything about the image is so sharp, so clear. Wonderful!

Gilad my friend, your photos never cease to amaze me. I'd really like to visit Israel one of these days to see the beauty of the land you've shown me....

This is a great image - the quiet before the storm...
There is something I like better in IR color film, and that is, well, the extra color...
As you have good control over mixing channels and combinig images I suggest the following to get as close as possible to Kodak IE (color slide film):
1. Shoot the same image in color and infrared (no filter but, maybe, polarizer).
2. Copy green chanel into blue (instead - I don't know if you need to delete it - probably not)
3. Copy red channel into green
4. Copy IR channel (only IR - no color) into red
I think the result should be simmilar to the color slide film.
One day I'll get a digital camera and try all this myself...

Your infared shots are always wicked, and I am jealous. I wish I had the ability to try it for myself but it will have to wait until I have more capable equipment.
