Youre the artist - Im thinking of buying a Poster - but which one? Glossy? Matte? And what, in my hamsters sake is "lustre"?

Umm, actually lustre is very similar too matte, but not as speckled looking when light hits. It's like a better version of matte.

Lustre - A metallic surface coating.
It's a matter of taste.. I like Matte

Metallic paper is totally different than lustre (which is very similar to matte) - it's usually called either "metallic (kodak brand)" or "pearl (fuji brand)" and the paper has an ultra glossy metallic sheen to it. There is no actual metal in the paper.
I work in a photo lab. We use both lustre and metallic paper.

due to keeping the colors original then instead of having them overblended by the mirrored light, makes sense. All your Pictures are playing with the different colors.
But still - I cannot imagine that. Metallic surface? at a poster? wouldnt that crumble?
