Description
Let’s play war games.
We’ll fight for our right to fight.
I'll kill you gently, with a smile.
And get away with it, with the beauty of politics
Let’s shake bloody hand,
Let’s say one thing, and do another.
Let’s smile and talk of peace,
While our legs, kicking under the table.
Let’s play peace games,
With a fist and a smile
****
Taken with Film (you won't find many of those in my gallery) in my trip to India.
This shot was featured in a few exhibitions dedicated to peace and understanding. I'm very proud of it.
Just a little clarification: The short poem is not aimed at this sweet kid. In no way is he to blame by the sarcasm of the words. This kid was playing some war games with his friends, and in a split second i got this genuine fist and a smile.

I closed the picture on top of another file, so ignore the EXIF data shown.

What a great portrait. You captured the moment!
Enjoyed your terse commentary - fits well with the picture. (I understand you
are not commenting on the children's play).

I think less manipulation would have been better; it's a documentary kind of image.

amazing color tone. i really like the composition. especially the kid in the backround reminds me mohammed ali (weird...maybe because of the fist in the foreground).

also the clarity of your pics (along with loads other devartists here) is, stunning,
Comparing them to what i have in my gallery, i am simply awestruck.....

I simply love this shot. I've visited time and again to see this one.
The expression on that child's face is priceless, as are his raised fists. The colours and the composition here are perfect...
And that waiting bit that you hate about film... that's what I love. You get all built up, excited to see your prints, finally. It's a wonderful feeling to discover that you've done something amazing.

Great shot. Brought a smile to my face.
I love that he has his fists up, rearing to go again; looks as though he has already done a few rounds with a bit of mud on his face.
