The shot is taken at Palmachim, close to the beach of Rishon LeZion, Israel. I was passing there when I noticed while driving that there is a small field of poppies there. I was taking some pictures there (a few minutes) when a religious family came to that small field and gave me the opportunity to mix nature with human nature.
The red blurry parts are out of focus red flowers I was shooting through to help get the "dreamy" effect.

I look at this photo almost everyday and I still can't work out how you make the kid in it look like he's glowing is it just contrast of red and white or did the light fall on him like that? O_O
