The shot is taken at Palmachim, close to the beach of Rishon LeZion, Israel. I was passing there when I noticed while driving that there is a small field of poppies there. I was taking some pictures there (a few minutes) when a religious family came to that small field and gave me the opportunity to mix nature with human nature.
The red blurry parts are out of focus red flowers I was shooting through to help get the "dreamy" effect.

That's really nifty how patches of the flowers are all blurry and out of focus. At first I thought it was manniped to be like that, then I read the artists comments and yah. Well done :}

An incredible balance between real and surreal. Having the figure walking out of frame just off the thirds point adds such a sense of calm energy to the image, as does the man being semi-formally dressed in a wild and almost magical setting.
It is a very moving piece.
