"If you do something twice it's a tradition. If you do it three times it's an ancient tradition". It look that dreams are the same way. If you dreamt of something once - it's just a snapshot of subconsciousness, if you dreamt of something twice - it's already a letter of a bigger alphabet. Beautiful work!

Thank you! My work is very personal to me and every piece of art I create means something to me. This painting was actually inspired by a recurring dream I have involving the magnolia tree in my mom's front yard and a black bird I call Alex. It's one of those extremely vivid dreams that make no sense.
