I'm in a kickass mood for tittle, that's impressive....Anyway, I'm reading the Son of Neptune (Please, no spoilers, I haven't finished it yet) and this scene caught my attention. I reeaaallly wanted to draw it. It's when Hazel and Nico are on Pluto's temple. Plus, I wanted to practice some light effects to add something cool to my drawing....hahaha, I'm so naive sometimes....
I was very satisfied with it, yep, I was...Now I see how hard this sucks. Nico, baby, why should I fail you every time I try to draw you *sobsob*
Now I'm going to hide in a corner and cry like a baby because it seems that life gets a sneaking pleasure watching me fail everything ATM.
Ah well..Hope you like it.

I like Nico in this. Finally, someone draws him with all the correct colors (except his skin is a bit darker) and his age! Jeez, people, Nico is NOT 19! He does NOT have glowing red eyes! He is NOT as pale as a vampire!

This is an amazing drawing! Not only did you draw Hazel and Nico together (I just love their 'new' brother-sister bond, with Nico being so concerned over her with the blackouts and Hazel worrying when Nico was captured), but you drew Hazel right! Her hair looks great! 
And the scenery is great too: the combination of the stones and the bones is funny at the first sight, but when you know how dangerous they actually are, the whole thing becomes a lot more creepy and threatening: the perfect portrait of the children of Hades/Pluto. And I love the little details in here, like Hazel's gladiator shoes and the signs on Nico's aviator jacket. Plus, you made them look their age (even with Nico looking older than he is, but that's what the strain of living in the underworld and losing your last family member does to you 
So please don't cry because you certainly didn't fail at drawing them: you actually did a wonderful job!

NO ONE draws her hair golden, it's always black or brown, but in the book says that her hair is golden. Thanks for paying attention on the details.

Hazel's hair is always a cause of argue for people and they practically all say that I'm wrong and that she has brown/dark hair since she Afro-American. -.- It seems like nobody has read the book correctly haha
