DJ PON-3 has to be one of my favourite background characters. Again sorry if the colours are wrong I agonised for ages to get them right but being partially colour blind I know I got some wrong.She started off as free standing but somewhere along the line she lost her balance and now has to be propped up by her makeshift turn table.
I just want to point out her main. Every image drawn of her is from the same angle so you never see the other side of her head. Which begs the question: what does her mane look like on that side? I decided to start it from the head rather than the neck and add some extra layers to create better volume. It looks good i think but if I did it again I would cover her ear and start it somewhere between the two.

Do you find it easier/better to just use one color of clay and paint it, compared to buying and using pre-colored clay?

I haven't tried using different coloured clay though I'd like to. From what I've seen both methods have their merits its just up to your choice I guess.

Agreed. However, for cost, I find the colors VERY expensive for very little clay. Also, I found the Super Sculpey is much more appealing for detail work! I highly recommend it, especially if you get the 50% off coupon at Michael's!

Yeah this stuff is really pricey, I use the cheaper air dry clays for bigger stuff.

Thanks. I didn't see it till you pointed it out, her body is slightly to long and the legs just a bit to thin. Will make sure the next one is better
