Fractals are fun to play with, aren't they? And it is possible to come up with some pretty artistic results with just the playing around.
The key is knowing how to turn fractals -into- "actual" art, and that can, at times, take a fair amount of thought and effort. Figuring out how to get the right texture and shape, choosing the right colors for it, setting up position and zoom, adding other effects... A lot of the time, it really is a "whole production".

Well, yeah, I'd see it as an art form if someone was trying to make it look a specific way and adjusting the levels correctly; but just messing around, like I have, isn't really that artistic.
