Description
My vectors never had any cool coloring techniques, they were always boring, just a line and a color outline to that line...but I am now adding COLOR! On the INSIDE!!Made in good ol' Flash MX.

I'll explain that comment:
"Vector images (sometimes called line art): this kind of artwork is made up of lines and filled areas only, which are mathematically drawn and calculated (hence the term vector) by the software you use. They can be stretched in size without losing any clarity or sharpness. Because of their mathematical origins, vector images are readily scaleable without distortion.
Raster images (also known as bitmaps) are composed of lots of small dots. This lends itself to photographic or artistic effects because color gradations can be made very smooth in a bitmap format. However, bitmap images lose their clarity when they are increased in size because the dots get bigger. Take an image that's 10 pixels wide by 10 pixels high, stretch it to 100 x 100 pixels and it looks like it's made of big squares."

Ooh. Interesting, I actually read it. So do vectors just have like...way more pixels?

Nope, no pixels at all.
If you look at most vector image files, they're basically big text files full of a ton of mathematical equations.
Think of it this way: you know the whole y=mx+b equation in algebra, that when graphed produces a line at some seemingly random angle? Well, you can make ANY shape you want with an equation like that. Vector images are essentially a collection of such equations in a specific order (with position data) to produce a given shape.
So, for example, the fonts that your seeing right now on this page are actually vector images, which is why you can set the font as big as you want without the letters getting pixel-like.
Take a look at the Fractal Art on DA, too. All of those images are basically pictures of mathematical equations...

Oh O_o I didn't know that was possible...and that's kinda funny, considering how many vectors I draw. xD Stupid Jenna.

Well yeah, I do, but Flash is better for vectors.
