Sixteen-year-old JESSICA lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with her mother CARMEN. Her father, PETER, sends enough money for them to live in their 8 000 square-foot house and have servants, but never comes home to enjoy it. Jessica is apathetic about her life and puts no effort into anything she does. She is calling Pete to inform him that their gardener, STEVE, has just died.[machine beeps]
JESSICA: Dad – it’s Jessica. You need to send us a new gardener – Steve’s dead. I hope you have insurance, and a good lawyer, because he fell off one of your ladders and he was drunk again. And maybe I’m dead too, because I don’t care. He always hated me anyways… said I creeped him out. You always said you loved us. But then, he was always around, so he’s probably right after all. And if you loved us, you would be here right now.
I’ll do the weeds, anyhow, if you don’t tell Carmen – she wouldn’t like it. But when did any of us ever say anything unnecessarily? You two hate each other – you don’t have to pretend anymore. Someday, Pete, you’re going to have to get up the guts to divorce her.
And I don’t talk either. I’m probably using up a month’s supply of words right now. I just don’t have anything I care enough to talk about.
You’ll have deleted this message by the time I said you didn’t love us. But I’m going to keep talking anyways because maybe I’ll get lucky and it’ll mean something.
Yeah. Maybe I’ll get lucky. Maybe Carmen’ll stop hating the people she can’t control. Maybe you’ll stop hiding from the things you don’t wanna deal with. Maybe I’ll wake up tomorrow in New Zealand.
I don't want to stay here. I don't want to be Las Vegas’ rich kid of the month, every month. I want to live somewhere cold and far away. The Dakotas, maybe, or even Canada. I think I'd like snow.
I want to be nobody. I want to live in a paper-walled nicotine-stained one-bedroom apartment in the part of downtown where you walk home with pepper spray in one hand and 911 already dialed on your cellphone in the other. I want to have my heart broken.
I want the stuff I have to be real enough to care about.
You know what? If you're still listening to this, don't bother searching for me. I've been gone for a long time already.

Kitty tat genotypes 8D Like what maks a tabby a tabby, what gets white markings, what makes 'em albino, what makes the colors, which colors come first, etc, etc... There are some things which I have no idea what makes it so (for example: polydactyl cats, tabby/plain torties [= what maks the difference between the two], bald cats, misformed cats...), but I've got most of the basic genes all ordered. I'm actually going to use genotypes for a certain story I'm making, and any roleplaying site I make from now on will strictly respect them.
Lessee... genotype list:
gender: X (female) / Y (male)
tabby (aka agouti): A (tabby, dominant) / a (solid, recessive)
-- tabby type: T (ticked, dominant over all), Sp (spotted, dominant over M / m), M (mackerel, dominant over m), m (classic, recessive)
white marking: S (white-marked), s (solid)
(if Ss or sS, then cat is bicolor; if SS, then cat is van or possibly [near-]solid white)
point design: N (normal, dominant), P (point = siamese, high diff between points and body color), p (sepia = burmese? low diff between points and body color), n (albino, recessive)
(if Pp or pP, medium diff between points and body color)
dominant white (cancels out all other colors): W (white, dominant), w (other, recessive)
blue-eyed and deaf white (works with dominant white or white markings - if they reach the ears, there is a high possibility of the cat being blind): Bw (blue-eyed + deaf white, recessive), bw (normal, dominant)
dominant black (cancels out colors other than dominant white): B (black, dominant?), b (other, recessive?)
red (= ginger, cancels out other colors, is always tabby): R (red), r (other)
(males are red with one or two Rs, females are tortie with one R and red with two Rs, male torties are ABERRATIONS so very rare + usually have weak immune system + sterile)
colors: Bl (black, dominant over C / Ci), C (chocolate, dominant over Ci), Ci (cinnamon, recessive)
fur length: L (short, dominant), l (long, recessive)
dilution: D (diluted, recessive), d (non dilute, dominant)
(black becomes blue [= gray], chocolate becomes lilac, cinnamon becomes fawn, red becomes cream)
dilution modifier (= caramelization, works only if there is dilution): Ca (modified dilution, dominant), ca (normal dilution, recessive)
silver (white hair base): Si (silver, dominant), si (no silver, recessive)
golden (golden hair base): G (golden, recessive), g ( no golden, dominant)
wideband (amount of white at base if there is silver): Wb (high, lots of white at base), wb (low, not much white at base)
(if Wbwb or wbWb, half of hair is white)
green-eyed silver (if silver is present, eyes are automatically green): Gr (green eyes, dominant), gr (normal eyes, recessive)
Ojos Azules (dark blue eyes, cancels out other colors except for green-eyed silver): Az (blue, dominant), az (normal, recessive)
eye modifier: O (normal), o (blue)
(if Oo or oO, the cat is odd-eyed)
allow eye modification (intervenes when cat is not white around the eyes): Mo (modified, recessive), mo (not modified, dominant)
(I added this gene so there won't be too many odd-eyed non-white cats running around)
eye color: E (adds yellow to the base greenish-blue color), e (doesn't add yellow)
(there are 8 pairs of this gene; the more Es there are, the more green, then yellow, then orange, then amber the eye becomes; there can be only e genes [=greenish blue] or only E genes [= dark amber or summat])

Nah, I started by raking up the stuff on tabbies, white cats and white markings, then did the colors, and found out about the Ojos Azules gene, got the fur length gene and then heavily based the rest on a certain site I used to go to. This is just a bit of research, you would've done much better if you'd gone at it <333

Hmm... mostly psychology sorts of things, but there's also Olbert's Paradox and redshifting stars, the concept of entropy, diabetic ketoacidosis, the origins and meanings of names, the repeating cycles of lots of kinds of dysfunction (like drugs and gangs and stuff)... I think that's it. I'm a geek, that's all. And most, if not all, of those topics were for various stories I found myself writing.

Well, in my city there is a persistent graffiti artist (and probably a load of copycat artists by now) who do something called the Listen Bird. Basically, it's a stylized bird with a speech bubble saying 'listen'. It's one of the few graffitis in our city that could be actually qualified as art.
[link] is my favourite one, the one I tried to copy my avatar off of. It didn't totally work, as you can see, but I liked the effect enough to put it on anyway.
