there was that time you came over and laughed me for staring out the window at a parking lot. i wasn’t – i was staring at eternity. but you smirked, i think, and said the view was gorgeous, and i told you it definitely was, hiding that i wondered why you’d come at all.thank you for making it a parking lot again.

it was about joel, surprisingly enough, about realising that he'd matured and that i'd matured enough to realise it. it was that point in time where i got that in his own way, he does care about the world around him... i never acutally thought that he realised it was there.
