There's nothing "wrong" with the suit. The person who wanted this comic didn't want a crazy catastrophic malfunction, but more of an observational issue.
This girl, Matsuri, is a tribal woman who spent her entire life running around jungles barefoot. The concept of wearing shoes was hard on her as it is, and the fact that some articles of equipment aren't easy to slip on also is a problem.
She enjoys the suit itself, but the gloves and boots will be a problem. You'll see for yourself why.
