Man, it's been quite the day for gaming fanart, but here goes again! One of my favorite games, Portal, is finally getting its own sequel which promises to be a-flipping-mazing. Here are Chell, sporting her favorite weapon, and Wheatley, a personality sphere who I have come to love from the previews I've watched. I'm so excited! Launch is April 18th (if they don't delay... again...) and I hear gameplay will be just as long as HalfLife 2. I wonder what new memes will spawn from this edition to the Portal-world. *fanspasm*Chell and Wheatley (c) Valve

hahah yeah my boyfriend just built himself a mega-beefy gaming computer. though he'll probably be playing portal 2 non-stop when it comes out soooo i will just have to jump on it when he goes for pee breaks

EG was so funny. I'm not normally good with video games, but apart from the "live-fire course" in Portal (which sadly took me between 5-7 attempts...), I completed the entire game first go through in about 2.5 hours. Then, when I played again, it took about 1.5 hours. Now, I play through the whole game so fast that EG just stares at me. It's hilarious. He was watching me play one day and says, dumbstruck, "How many times have you played this?" "Three," I answered. Silence, then, "I've played this at least ten times, but I've never done THAT before!" Hehe, I like surprising him with my multi-faceted interests on occasion.

I actually based her off a image I found of Alecia Glidewell whose face was used to map Chell in the game. You can find lots of pics of Chell online and, of course, you can shoot side-by-side portals in the game a get a good look at yourself. That's a nice part about Portal that I miss from games like Half-Life and Bioshock. I like to have a good idea of what the hero, or I, look like other than the behind-the-scenes images released by the makers.

Yea, I used to shoot side by side portals but could never get a clear enough look :/ but that was a great idea using the person who they used to map the face I can't believe I didn't think of that
