Today was the last day of camp and I just wanted to upload my final project. I made a simple animation of a pokemon battle. I think it turned out really well since this was my first time using flash. Well this took a week to do (not including weekends) and with 1 1/2 hour classes.Anyways please tell me how I did (just don't be mean about it please >n<). <3 I'm sorry for the badly drawn characters. I had to work fast. Just to warn you this is 40.3 seconds so if you watch the whole thing, you get a star!!! >w<

I think the characters look really cute, they don't look bad at all >v< Keep up the awesome effort and you'll be absolutely amazing at animating one day for sure

I judge myself harshly on my own art myself too, i guess it's a thing about artists, they always think their art looks bad when it's actually really good, my rl freinds always boast about how 'good' i am at drawing even though i don't think i'm perfect though although i appear to be the second best person at drawing in my family (my cousin can draw better, he has a dA account as well but i dunno what's his account name though, i keep forgetting to ask ;n
I'm sure you'll become an awesome animator, just like drawings, it takes practice

I think there is an emagination computer camp near you. I mean I had to drive 3 and half hours to get to mine. (I'm writing a journal about it so if you are interested you can read it)

Melaney don't say that about yourself. Just remember that practice makes perfect! You're still young and maybe when you get older, you will be even better than me!!
Oh well I did have around 480 frames in this animation and heck if I had to draw them each out like I do in WLMM I would probably die. You do have to draw a lot but there are some tricks that you can do to lessen the amount of drawing.

Lawl no you don't have to copy and paste each frame. That would take a long time too. There are tools in Flash that make it easier than that.
