I always thought that this version was so weird but I think it's because of the way they used to draw back then- they don't have alot of the stuff that we do now

The classic rogue! Wonderful xD This really is the best version of her. She oozes street badassery even with the superhero getup. That pose and expression especially, are very befitting.

the original looks are almost always the best... Wolverine's bright yellow costume is the exception... really like your take on Rogue. You captured her angst very nicely. Kudos.

I thought her character was always very intersting, sadly I never met Gambit, and his interaction w/Rogue. Would've been nice to see her happy.

wayyy cool pic. there is so much you can do with a pic like this (great coloring BTW) Rogue looks here like she's been scolded, came from winning a tough fight (sentinel or so) or this could be het in a cool group pose-pic.

sassy southern animated rogue. you got her.
i will say this though, careful on the shading over the boob (if i may call it that) if it isn't done just right it might give the illusion of being flat. in these cases i try to only put lighting on top of the breast and shading below it. with just slight shading in cases of necessary clothes wrinkles.
other than that she looks amazingly cute. and you're well working on getting these females under your style!

Ah! Thank you for pointing that out... honestly, the chest area on female is still very hard for me to draw- it often looks strange.
I'm glad to hear she looks good though, drawing attractive comic female is also hard for me to do... although my anime drawing backgroud helps with that some, as I'm sure it does with you as well.

woo hoo! I wish they'd bring some kind of homage to this costume back into the comics or cartoons. Lately it's still the straight hair with long white bangs, and the green hooded cloak... that's definitely cool too, but I miss the old school.
