Description
Taken from Manggarai Depot at Jakarta. I feel so lucky that the depot crew allowed me to peek inside this grave. I called this depot 'grave' because it filled with 'corpse' (rusty, broken down, or sometimes, ghostly abandoned train). There also some rumor that this depot is haunted by the infamous 'haunted EMU' that always run by it self (without any electric pantograph attached to the overhead line!).Related content

fascinating.
are people living in these old rail cars?
It seems strange to be in Jakarta but there are no wandering hordes of people that I associate with that city.

of course not! those train are parked inside the depo. this place is restricted for public. besides, no one would live on those old train anyway! (some depo crew always hear strange sound from those cars every Thursday night! can you believe that?)
