I was trying to make a realistic picture and instead I got THIS.MY GOD, IT BURNS MY EYESSS.

If you really want to know, all you gotta do is repeat what you did here with finer brushes. (Can't really explain the color mixing,but there are tutorials for that xD)

I personally think you did a great job for a first attempt. Maybe ligthen up the fur stripes where it's light, make the nose/mouth/muzzle area a little bigger and lower, and wa-la! Keep working at it! This is great, Ginger!

It helps if you find a picture of a real cat and reference cats' real features and how their fur parts and where to put the ears and how their eyes curve and where their lips end and so on.
