Description
Aparantly the Imperial guardsmen get death penalty for customizing their guns. The lack of quality in this image makes me sad. Sad enough to re-draw it? Not quite at this point.

Yeah it could visibly give you and your whole regiment away.
Do as the Tau. Choose camouflage.

I could see a whole Space Marine chapter with Rainbow Dash themed shoulder pads. They'd swear blind the symbol has some other symbolic meaning and they're totally not heretics.

He customises his Holy LasGun, the "mighty" weapon of the Imperium with a Mouthless Cat Mutant? Tzeentch approves.

you're giving me some messed-up ideas for a Chaos army... This could be interesting, or at least funny. hehe

The Changer of Ways expects lots of pink, would make lots of purists in the Imperium (which is all of them) go "What the Fu-" forcing them in a great disadvantage.
Post.Script. Would be interesting to see "Tzeentch Approves" as a motto or quote, though it would mostly be 'just-as-planned' scenarios.

hehe, that's a good point.
And I may just draw something with Tzeentch when I'm next drawing 40k stuff.

Look at it this way if you get shot by a guy who painted his gun pink, then what does that make you?
(and no I didn't but I did go paintballing in a "Real Men Wear Pink" T-shirt)

Surely, you have to yell at them first. Then stab them with your sword until some level of personal satisfaction is achieved and then shoot. ...Or is that just me being cruel again?

I think you might be considered following Slaanesh, if it was for personal satisfaction. That would be heresy and we all know what happens to heretics.

Hehe, I like this one! I don't play this particular rpg system but I have friends that do. On occasion one of the Warhammer groups used to played at the shop we once gamed at. There was a young lady that had a set of Imperial guardsmen/women painted up in Hello Kitty motif. The banners that her squad carried even had Hello Kitty skull-wings on them! She called her Hello Kitty miniatures the "Emperors Kittens". All of her dice were pink and the vehicles that she had were also painted pink and marked with Hello Kitty. The look on her opponents faces as she would slaughter them was priceless!

Wow, that's quite a story! Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd have an interesting expression on my face if I was defeated by the "Emperor's Kittens". I can't say I have enough confidence in my strategy to even accept the challenge

Hehe, where I live most young male geeks I know think that a girl has no clue how to play an rpg to start with. So having a super cute girl with Hello Kitty themed miniatures must be even more clueless on how to play in their eyes. Watching her wipe the floor with them is priceless. Especially one guy who actually took a chunk of his army and tossed it on the ground and STOMPED ON IT just because he lost to a girl!!! Victory for her and womankind, loss for him and his wallet to replace the damaged miniatures!

Seem to me more that the commissar is threatening the guardsman, though his comment would even get Commissar Yarrick (who got the commissars of a whole system not to shot their men in a war-zone) to kill him.

In the book 'Imperial Munitorum Manual', it was very bluntly put that most Guardsmen are expected to be killed within 6 months after they enter active service. So the Departmento Munitorum wants to make sure that the weapons and gear remain as close to their original state as possible when a solider dies, so that it can be passed on from one Guardsmen to the next with minimum complications.

you are not suppose to modefy any of your weapons, especially since he remove where the aquila is sitting to put the sticker there. that alone is defaceing teh your weapon and your treated no differently than a heretic at that point. If you get a hold of the imperial guard uplifting primer and take a look at that youll see all the rules and reg.'s of the guard.

I'm sure it has something to do with "going against the Emperor's will" by not being happy with what they're given by the Empire. I guess they're considered to be soldiers of little value since they're not as capable as Space Marines, so they can be killed for pretty much anything the guy in command can think of. Perhaps the leaders think that pereodically killing people for small things has some value in keeping the discipline.
