Just a quick little image i made. Since Edward and Shay are from close time periods and both sailors i thought it would be fun to do some Edward vs Shay style images.Related content

obviosly the morrign and shay would win shay has the tech advantage and also the speed and manouverability to dogde icebergs and stuff you guys need to stop posting for the person you like and look at facts also the jackdaw is supposed to be much bigger but also slower so the morrigan would easily take it down also shay is a better captain not just somenube you happened to become an assassinb

somehow i feel that the morrign is the ship that sunk the jackdaw (The jackdaw's wreck appears in freedom cry)

nice idea but when Shay was captain of Morrigan Adewale was an old man so Shay would be way too young (if even born) during the events of Freedom Cry. Would have been a nice tie in though

Sweet Image. But it makes the Morrigan look like its the same size as the Jackdaw, when the Jackdaw was a much larger vessel.

Why do i keep thinking there is something odd about the Jackdaw in this image? Is it the actual two ships shopped together in one image or is it just a regular ship with the Jackdaw's flag added onto her mast?

no it is the two actual ships, they were different resolutions though so even though i tried to equalize them they do look slightly different

Oh, and then you would see Aquila also, and thats why it's broken in AC3! (sorry if i missed something, havent played 3 yet)
And Shay is also the reason why theres not too much Assassins in AC3.

i think you're right about shay possibly killing most of the assassins because theres only like 1 in AC3, and it would be cool to see The Aquila again, i loved that ship!

What if.. Someone close to Edward got his ship after his death, so now that guy operates Jackdaw, and then you would actually battle against it.

true enough but the morrigan is a newer vessel with better tech and built with more maneuverability and speed. the out speeds, out moves, and out guns the jackdaw by a considerable margin. However, in terms of prowess in battle and which captain would win, Edward all the way

yeah if the two ships were to actually fight the Morrigan would win because she is more advanced
