I have Creates a New species Called Tree Harpy's as you can see my influence was nature.
Their wings are made of Leaves and branches. Their skin is bark. They are not born live. Eggs are placed in dirt nest where their covered in soft soil so that when they hatch they get the earth nutrients. Their feet are bird like but in actuality they are roots. Tree harpy's often travel in groups so that if they need to hid they can huddle together and stimulate bushes and trees.

A baby Harpy bodies are close to shrubs. There very bushy but that bushiness is lost once their wings begin to grow.
Tree harpy follow a leader which is like a chief. They are not normally nomadic but the men are often the most seen being that the women are left to protect the nesting grounds why the men do their best to keep predators away from the babies.

Some tree harpys just have leaves and others grow flowers mostly women. Tree harpy's mate for life. Meaning they swear themselves to each other, and reproduce with said mate. When a female finds attraction to a male she gives him a flower she bare on her own body. A man that bares flowers or fruit to might do the same but often times finding a meal for a female works just as well.

Tree harpy diets usually consist of fruits, insects, seed, think Vegan i guess.

They live in warm temperature forest with a fair amount of sunlight and access to water. They need soil to survive and cannot adapt to modern life unless you plan to carry a flower pot everywhere you go :T
