Description
I don't know whether these mermaids understand the monetary worth of their find, but they certainly seem intrigued. Plus, shiny stuff is always fun to look at- - - - - - - - - - -
I apologize for the dearth of artwork lately. I've undergone a number of rather significant life changes recently, one of which has resulted in my working a number of substitute shifts at my library job. One of the perils of working in the library is that you come across a larger variety of books than you would have found while browsing as a patron. Either you see a patron check out a material and think, "That looks cool! I'll need to find that for myself," or when you're checking in returns, you find yourself opening a book to flip through it...
No matter how many times I tell myself I will NOT bring home one more book after this shift, I end up bringing one (or 5 or 10) home anyway.

Edit: I'm not sure why the lines ended up looking so thick

It's called Forestia, it was such a weird game It's a game for 7-9 year old kids. The beginning is really, child-like.... but some "chapters"/story later.... it gets so freaky red and dark and scary music
And you need to play a game with a mermaid to find chests and such..... so funny
(Btw, the disk cover said:age 7-12, but the game said self: 7-9 )
Here is the part of the scaryness:

Since metalworking in general is near impossible underwater, the treasure they wound would pose a great value because of its sheer rarity and difficulty of reproduction. That is, if mermaid society has a concept of material wealth and theory of currency.

I hadn't thought about that, but you're right - apart from welding, there's no way to work with metal underwater that I know of.Β (And the mermaids probably don't have that kind of technology.)Β I think the items would have value as collectibles, if not actual currency, in their society - jewels are pretty, and coins can be very artistic in style.Β Interesting observation.
